Thinking of getting my son replacement sun visors for his 06 Tacoma for his bday. Id like to get genuine Toyota visiors unless there is a reason not to. Any great after market brands? Did Toyota fix the desin defect in the replacement units?>School me on the best way to go. He removed his due to that floppy design problem.. Thanks

I went with an Amazon after market and it works great and looks just fine on my 07
    Dasbecan for less than $30
You might want to have saved the hardware from the OEM floppers

I have seen the after market ones. The genuine Toyota ones are 3 times the price. I dont know if there is a big quality difference between the two but I dont want to pay less for something thats going to fail in a short amount of time. Im a Jeep guy. We dont have sunvisior issues. We have real problems. Thanks

Amazon visor replacement visors have worked for me. My wife destroys the visors on my Tacoma at least once every couple of years.

I've bought ebay ones and had installed for a few years without issues now. Though I think the ebay ones were like $40 so if you can get the OEM near there like from gody for around $50 that's the route I would go.
