When I finally get a rear deck in, it'll look like a diseased kindergartener built it :(

Axis.... I had 3 work days off. Eager to get on the rear seat delete.
For 3 days all I did was measure and stare while seated on a bucket.
Having said that... 3 days off I was well rested FROM JUST SITTING AND STARING.
It was the cab floor that bugged me. All the ungalations.
Once I saw it. It took a bit of time, but it was smooth sailing.

It all unbolts and seats can always be put back in.

That's a horrible idea. What time?
I'll take a look. Welcome to the site. At the top of the page left of the "alerts" tap is an box with a pen in it. Start a thread there if you want / need to.

You can also post links in your signature area under "You." My build page and a travel thread are posted there.

    Hope it helps a little.

Tiny Taco... Thanks for the info. I'll do what I can. Again. I have been quietly receptive to whats shared on TW as non member
We all have different needs in our builds.
My only advice is don't cookie cutter with the norm. Whatever you chose to do, do it the best you can. Do it with consideration as to what you need.

Example.... Airing up...True. I'm not rolling on 40" tires.
But too me... 4 fucking hoses? blah, blah, blah. to air up? ( I get about a pound of air per second on the ARB Twin.) 15 seconds a tire....

Damn. Its beautiful out there what's the hurry to I leave it.

I wish the single rear seat was on the opposite side. Would make a 40/60 build much more reasonable if the extra space was on the drivers side.

Different Streaks for different freaks. Lol.
Even when I had the seats in. I preferred it as is. In my camp set up it was simply more beneficial to have more space passenger. Also road side safety. I prefer to be off the shoulder- passenger.

I just removed the rear seat bottoms and bought this pet deck, which seems heavy duty and is 24"x48". It is a cheap alternative and matches my gray interior well enough (it is gray, but looks a little beige in the photo) I have ordered a rug the same size to go over it to keep things in place. I just needed it mostly to haul my kayak gear.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Built one late this summer. Got under $300 in it. Metal frame with HDPE riveted to that and automotive carpet glued over the top. Access doors to get underneath w/lockable doors. Bolts to the stock seat location.

Stock seats bolt back in in a matter of minutes if the need were to arise.

Some of you are amazing fabricators/carpenters. I've been looking into Goose Gear, however at over $1000 for a full delete that I see being done for a claimed $300 in materials, it's making it tough to pull that trigger.

Actually ordered the goose full delete yesterday. Was told today it’s a 10 week lead time. Canceled the order.

I was told the same. 10 weeks goes by in a blink of the eye. The 1300 dollar price stopped me in my tracks
