    @nudavinci64 , how's your ebrake?
I have the same front BBK and rotors as you and like them.

Pretty useless but I need to pull it out and adjust. Rebled the brakes this week and one rear rotor is as def not adjusted right as I could pull it off easy. I’m going to give it an adjustment and tighten the cable length. but yah that’s the only part that’s not great. I know another guy who swapped a new d60 axle and hasn’t had any issues.

When @Lucario Runner and I did his rear swap, his emergency brakes worked just fine. He can add if they still do.

I had a much earlier kit, and they need to be upgraded to his newer version. It would really help.

My ebrake has been good. Used it towing some heavy equipment to my other property to load and unload the trailer.

Yah I wonder if it was just installed wrong. I didn’t have time and had someone else do it. when I pulled off the rear wheels this past week one rotor was loose pads in the drum def were not adjusted correctly. My other assumption is the cable was not adjusted. I’m going to pull calipers off and adjust them and see if it helps. for now the e brake has become a luxury item.

Nice! The ECGS 60 is a possible one. Heavy axles but hard to beat the price for almost plug and play.

Curious, what length brake lines did you go? I see a few options, just wondering with the TC kit what length.

Pretty sure we went with the longer ones. I had both but ordered the longer ones. I think with that you can run from caliper all the way up to the frame.

Finally ready to pull the trigger on this kit but I see the GB code is only good for 10% now. Does anyone have any newer discount codes?

Bumping this thread out of hibernation.

How many miles are you guys getting out of your front BBK pads? Did anyone also change their rotors? I understand everyone's number is different because of truck weight and their braking habits.

My rear drums are giving the death screech at 60k so it made me curious how long the fronts last for people.

I have 20k mi on my front and looks like I can go 15k-20k mi more.
Only have 5k on the rear stoptechs.
    I weigh close to 6000#.

I have my original drums with 45k mi on them if you want them.
I need to get rid of them.

Would you go with the 17" or 16" setup?

This thread always gets my attention. Might finally purchase once my current OEM brakes are done. I’ll be needing rotors and pads so might as well. :notsure: It’s between this and stoptech rotors w/trd pads

Nice, good to know. How do the brakes feel with the rear Stoptechs? Is it night and day difference vs the drums? I'm a little over 6000#.

I know little about drums but I think mine should last a few more years, just got to change the shoes. If it craps out sooner I'll definitely reach out if you have it then. Thanks for the offer.

I went with 17" in the front. If I do the rear, would probably do 17" if it's an option. What did you go with?

Adding the StopTechs in the front was a night and day difference.
I'm so happy with my braking now especially when I'm loaded up for a big trip.
I have TRD which has the the electronic boosted master cylinder which makes them work perfect.
Didn't really notice a change in braking when I added the rear StopTechs but I did start running 37s at the same time.
I went to a Dana 60 from ECGS and decided to but in new brakes and went with the StopTechs.

I originally went with the 16" kit but then went long travel and my kit required a 17" rotor so I upgraded.
Now I have a set of StopTech 16" two piece rotors setting around.
