I'd like to know if any of y'all have or had the same experience with the 3rd gen tacoma, since I bought it brand new always have had some steering wheel shakiness, I wouldn't say a huge thing but some that an experienced driver can tell, I have done everything but alignment, road force balance in different places, etc. Any opinion is more than welcome. Thanks in advance.

    Oh look, another mod....
Let me get this straight, you've owned this truck for 2yrs and now you decide it's a problem? What on Earth stopped you from immediately taking it back to the dealership to have them fix this? Well, now it's too late. They'll try to blame this issue on you. But you should still alert them. Wait, that's assuming your still under the factory warranty.

Get your tires re-balanced. You may have just thrown a weight on one of the wheels.

When brand new warranty should have covered it either way, now that it’s 2 years old, they’re going to go after alignment and tires first, both of which are probably not under that warranty.
I can’t imagine waiting this long, like the guy that is posting about his faded paint, that’s clearly (no pun intended) been degrading for years (probably back to warranty coverage).

Well u got a point about that but, it's not always, it's not rough and my truck only has 10k miles, I mean I have other cars, it's not something that is bothering me daily plus, dealers never fix anything anymore.

Things like this they just say is a balance thing and never go beyond, I hate dealers, every time I go for something specific it's like being punished

I believe you get one alignment via warranty, and it must be done within a year of purchase. Makes sense.

Have you checked to see if you have a tire out of round or a bent wheel. Even though it has been doing it since it was new, I have seen bent rims on brand new vehicles before

Have you rotated front to back, to see if there is any change?

I would say tires/wheels. My passenger seat shocks violently until I got someone who knew what they were doing balance the tires. Shake is gone now, and I am lifted and on 33’s

Does the shaking happen most of the time or just when lightly applying the brakes?
