1st gen tire help please

    Good afternoon all!

    I did some searching, but was hoping to get some extra opinions before I jump into this. I have a 2003 4x4 Tacoma. I want to run a set of 17x9.5 wheels with 5" backspacing. I have already hit up the discount tire member on here, and they are super helpful. What say you all regarding tire size? Am I absolutely positively going to need a lift?

    This truck is a street driven, work truck, so no future off-roading plans. I'd love an aggressive look too, but my main priority is wet weather driving. I want them to be great in the rain.

    Thanks for helping yet another "which tire" question. The wheels are going to get stripped and powder coated, but I want to ensure I can really run them before doing all that.
