DAC in reverse

    Normally when i use downhill assist in 4L i'm going forward with the shifter in low gear. For those that have used this feature when backing down in reverse how's it compare? Do you notice much difference not being in low gear?

    bump.... no one's ever been in a spot where they needed to back down on a steep incline :confused:

    mods... need this moved to Offroading & Trails.

    I drive a Miata.
    Once, after I dun fucked up. Generally you want to be so much on the brakes that you don't notice any assist (if it exists) let alone trans resistance. For me I wanted to barely inch along while I plotted my angles. Its too easy for things to go south when the steer axle is on the wrong end of things.

    Yep... DAC wouldn't exist because once you touch the brake (or gas) DAC stops working. Makes sense to inch along though... was just worried about over heating the brakes.
