I'm looking for steel bumper with grill guard but I'm not sure it will interfere with the sensor
Is there any bumper with a grill guard that doesn't cause that issue?
    I have a TRD grill

As long as it’s not directly blocking it there should be no problem

Even low hoops that don't pass directly in front of the sensor will still work, but I would pick something with a higher hoop to be safe

ARB Summit bumper is compatible, but I've heard that any front lighting can't be used on it, it screws with some of the sensors?? Despite their website showing driving lights on it......

Depends on the grill. I don’t know the names of the different grill styles, but the summit bumper sits above the bottom inch or two of the grille.
If you have the one with “Toyota” on it the bumper will obscure part of the sensor and TSS won’t work.
I have the grill with the sensor behind the oval Toyota logo and TSS works fine.
