T-slot twist nuts for bed rails?

With aluminum extrusions you can use these t-slot nuts that twist in anywhere in the slot, rather than having to slide in from the end. Does anyone know if there’s a size of these that fit the bed rail?



Google search has only showed the standard t-slot nuts that have to slide in from the end, but since I’m sticking with a Lomax tonneau cover that blocks the track at the mounting points, I’d like to be able to insert tie downs anywhere.

Just get carriage bolts. Grind down one side, put opposite side in rail, lift up so ground side goes under the rail and twist the carriage bolt 90 degrees.

These work great, I have a cap on the bed using the rails so I couldn't use the normal slide in t nuts, these can be popped in between the rail at any point and rotated to lock in

Plug and play, non rusting aluminum and metric sized like everything else on the truck - perfect

 

How are these working out for you?

 

I ordered the Gzila track nuts too. Mounted my shovel in my bed with them. They worked well. Went metric and used M8 bolts which I had laying around.
