I just switched to MX4, from oem cover. Super happy with MX4 over oem. Oem was very leaky, and reason I switched, it was damaged from tree's falling on it.

Sometimes I’m not sure what to think about the different tonneau covers based on different reviews.

I understand different people have different experiences, but it does seem like the tonneau cover information can vary quite a bit.

Some folks say the backflip products are great, others say they leak, same with Lomax or Rough Country, pro and con, same with OEM, pro and con.

Personally, my experience with the OEM cover has been really good. Mine came new on the truck I bought and I haven’t had any problems with leaking or anything.

Yes, I can relate. Read same, my oem (factory leak horrible. Worse in rain, then in car wash, go figure. Plus, didn't care for how front panel was fix position. MX4 opens all the way, and no leaks, plus has gutters on each side, w/ drains.
