Hey guys, my truck was hit in the left rear behind the tire and I am looking for a shop to do the repairs. No frame damage (low speed hit) so nothing too major. I am located in Tigard so somewhere around here would be great.

I called Beaverton Toyota and Wilsonville Toyota to get their recommendation. They gave me Precision Autobody (not the best Google reviews) and Classic Collision (better rating, but not many reviews).

Anyone else recommend a body shop that does great work on Tacomas? The other persons insurance will be paying for it and I will be going OEM parts only (hopefully).

    Thanks!

McCollum’s is the only shop that I’ve done any business with - and it was mainly due to proximity when I was living in SE Portland.

They did a great job and it was fast but I don’t know if there’s one close to Tigard.

Also, it was on a BMW not a Toyota but I don’t see why that would matter - if the fender is crumpled they’re going to replace it with a new panel anyway.

I used Leif’s in tigard as they only use OEM parts and did a great job on my wife’s car when a truck backed over her hood.

Sorry for the delay! I ended up going to a place called Heitzman. They seem to do a fair amount of Tacoma's and they were able to do an estimate that day (I had scheduled others a month or two out before that). I am on the books for late January, but they will try to get me in sooner since it is such a small job. I have already turned down 6-7 new Tundra's and now a 2023 reserved that comes in mid January. Hoping my Tacoma is fixed and sold by then.

Just got notified all parts were ordered today. Once they have an eta on them ill they will try to fit me in sometime November. What I’m not looking forward to is the accident being on the carfax. Never a good thing when you are trying to sell a rig.
