What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Stock TRD Off Road tires are just big all season passenger car tires. I suggest getting real winter rated tires on steel rims. I also add a 50lb concrete slab in the box for a bit off added weight on the rear axle for the winter months.

 

I hate you all, imma trade my 2nd for a 3rd!!!

 

Im ordering some cooper discoverer maxx in 255/85/16 before the snow falls. I was thinking of getting actual snow tires too since I am up and down boat ramps and on frozen lakes all winter.

 

You will hate the throttle lag. USE the ECT Power button until you can get a tune on it.

 

I joined the Bro grill club. I bought a used OEM grill w/garnish from FBMP. It was as old as my truck so I’m good with it. Just had to clean it up a bit.
I mounted the front cam in the center, right above the sensor. I had to trim part of the plastic bracket in the back to make some room for the nut. The test drive went well. No error codes.

 

I’ll skip the tune. The only thing left that’s warranted is the motor an tranny. Oh and fuel system. So my ECT is my tune. Lol.

1. Did an AAL 1.5 inch to rear and took out those blocks
2. Raised the front to 2.5 in
3. New set of wheels n tires FUEL off road wrapped in NITTO ridge grapplers.

Just waiting on my UCA’s and new rear shocks with external reservoir.

 

Brought it home from the Pittsburgh dealership, 8 hour round trip but got pretty much everything I wanted at MSRP.

Finally upgraded from Icon 2.0 Stage 1 coils to Kings 2.5 and JBA UCA. Lube, Greased and Aligned - my 2016 TRD Sport feels so much smoother and takes on bumps and humps easily. I don't use this for crawling but will come handy on those off trail roads in Utah. Looking to try in Kanab.

 

Bath day plus a coat of ceramic wax. Shines up nicely.
