All depends on what tire size you run. Wheels oem will be ok. Aftermarket all depends on offset/ back spacing. Lot of variables. Needs more info on what you are thinking?

I went with aftermarket RENEGADE 6 POLISHED 17x9 0-offset with 265/65r17 Nitto Grapplers..ABSOLUTELY NO RUBBING AT ALL..(the 265/65r17 is exact same Size as the factory 265/70r16)

It makes for a wider stance with about an 1" poke outside of the fender wells....

The only thing I dislike ..is it will throw mud, water , gravel on the side of your truck....I've ordered a set on mudflaps hoping this will help

Appalachian Mountains...All I see when I step outside my front door are Miles & Miles of these mountains!

Theirs a stretch of highway that I travel to work that's over 30 miles of just mountains....it's absolutely beautiful all year round Spring, Summer,Fall, and Winter.
Love it when the Snow Falls and covers the trees.

I go ATVing in them quit often...miles of trails.

If you keep the same offset you can easily fit a taller tire with a 265 width. Like a 265/75/16 Duratrac tire. You could also go as tall as a 33" 255 pizza cutter tire.

Anything wider and depending of the offset of your new rim, and it's hit and miss for rubbing, cutting and/or having to remove your mudflaps. Not to mention loss of mpg and gutless performance.
