Are you set on a -25 offset? That is what is going to be giving you all of your clearance issues.

I have 5100s/885 running 285s on a 17x8.5 0 offset and have only done plastic trimming. At full flex I do not contact the cab mount.

Not saying it works for everyone but I have run 285s on both of my Tacomas with these wheels and have been good with just plastic trimming.

I was just going to keep the factory wheels. And do 285s but I’m currently in talks with someone of fb marketplace whose selling 16x8 -25 offset wheels for $600 when original price is 1000. Seems like a good deal. I’ve been debating if it’s gonna be to much trouble than just to stay stock wheels I like the look of both wheels. Ideally would like to get 0 offset wheels but financially I’d rather have a truck with a good suspension and tires for off-roading than wheels.

Check out the @HeadStrong Off-Road aal. No need to cut stuff off your factory leaf pack which is a huge plus.

The uca's will let you increase caster during the alignment to help clear the tires. Aim for 3.5deg.

I did the ecgs bushing because it was there. Kind of regretting to because it was a pita.

Thanks for the advice. I think once everything is on I can see what needs to be done as I go
