Me too! I read some people have painted them black. It looked better. I thought about painting it white to match the truck.

For sure! I’d totally try it if I could find a used one for $50 bucks or so. Don’t want to mess mine up

Yeah thats what everyone says, but I get trash traction with them on gravel or snow, they were great for the first 2 years, but the last 2 years have been terrible.

But it is time for me to get tires anyhow. I put a 2.5 inch lift and have the stock tires on there so it looks a little funny.

Installed the Lomax cover. Shout out to Lucas and @truckalter for the great pre-sale support, fantastic pricing and incredibly quick shipping (with Saturday delivery, no less!). In the process of installing that, I also changed my opinion of the bumper step the dealer had installed that I thought was useless bling. As soon as I finished putting tools away, my 20 year old son came out and educated me on the seat belt buckle pockets in the rear seat backs. WTF? Who knew? Well, obviously he did, but I'd never seen those before in any car I've owned.

Also put the El Cheapo rear seat dog cover/hammock Amazon delivered today in the storage behind the back seat. Fit like that cubby was made for it, so that was cool. Will put it on the seat tomorrow, as I have to take both terrorists to Doggy Day Care Monday morning so they don't assault the handyman (again).

Seems to be well made, so we'll see how it holds up to Michiganistan winters. Wanted to get it on before the snow flies. ;) While researching covers, one of the most common complaints--if you call it that--about the Lomax is the last panel doens't fold up, so no access to the front of the bed without removing it. That wasn't a drawback for me, based on how I figure the bed will get used; mostly just put stuff in the back of the box anyway. In fact, I'm thinking of getting one of those flip-over bed extenders to put on, just to keep things from sliding all the way to the front.

I was so close to getting the Lomax as it looks good and keeps the rails. But I really wanted the full fold up as I put my bike back there a lot and didn’t want to stick things to my cab (Lomax Stance). So I went with the safe choice of the BAKflip MX4; my rails are just a bit lower.

it’s great we have several good choices in the marketplace.

Oh I can see that. My leer tonneau did have access to the front but then it had a weird locking mech at the rear. I don’t think any of the hard tonneaus are perfect honestly

In case anyone does want the Lomax with the full fold up they have a new model called the Stance that does. It uses a different mechanism for holding the last panel up when driving with a prop rod to the top of the cab.

For me, I love this grill in grey, it matches my truck nicely. I like the look of the pro grill but would never get it because I don’t need the garnish as I have no sensors. And I think it looks lame with the garnish. I wish they made them continuous at the bottom, if you know what I mean. For those without sensors.
