    Proofed a couple balls today. Kids got a cheese pie. Wife got a vegan mushroom, olive, tomato, arugula pie. I got a prosciutto and arugula pie. Very nom nom.

    For an added kick of flavor I put a tablespoon of garlic powder and oregano in the dough. Oregano is what you're seeing.

    Don’t have a Akron but I do have a kamado joe. Do you have the stone that you can buy for the Akron? I would recommend you use that to deflect the heat and then cook your pizza on another stone on top of the cooking grate

    I make my own dough, and I converted a 95 Weber into a wood fired with the kettle pizza. I bought there u shaped stone that’s on its on rack so it sits right in there. Then In the back it has a tray.. so I start it with charcoal and then put hickory chunks in there to get it around 900 degrees.
