Hey, new to posting, but long time lurker(2020 TRD off road)

I have searched high and low through New forums on multiple different websites and cant find the answer to this question. I originally decided on putting bilsine B8 5100 ride height adjustable shocks on the front only with the stock coils, when I impulsively bought it for the rear too. Now reading through a few forums many have claimed that putting 5160s in the rear gives it a better ride quality. I am looking for somthing close to stock ride quality with only a mild lift in the front for leveling purposes(Front up about 0.65 to 1.1 in) to be able to fit a 275 70 17 ko2 tire. I mainly use the truck for the commute to school around 15 miles all highway with some city and residential, same with work, along with the offroad trail every now and then. new to suspension btw:)

Is it worth it dropping the extra $280, should I just keep the rear stock and return the current rear 5100s or just "full send" and see what happens?

Does anyone have any real world experience with this pair that can shed some more light on it especially with the ride quality? Any pics would be very much appreciated too!

I have 5160's on now. Had 5100's before. There is really no ride quality difference between the two. My only reason for the switch is they came as a set with 15 TRD Pro suspension, when Toyota was blowing them out. Also I lifted rear 2".

5160 is just a 5100 with an external reservoir. No need in an external reservoir unless cycling suspension rapidly.

    Update

I have purchased 5100s for the front and 5160s for the rear since I do eventually plan on lifiting 1.5 in in rear, which is probably a lot more safe than the up to 1 inch for the rear on the 5100s. Will keep updated if anyone's interested!
