I have the same plates. Is that a stock gas tank? Don't look like it...

 

I didn’t look to see if they covered the frame openings with a piece they welded on. But those caps look cool. I sent website to MCM.

Looks like their tie rod sleeves are sold out

Yes stock tank 2022. I considered a larger tank but with all of the other additions, it kinda got lost in the planning.

we took a new 2022 Taco truck from dealer straight to off-road race shop… it’s been several month… it just left AZ WIRE PRO and heading for upholstery…

First weekend with the truck so besides installing a ham radio it was just the basics like applying RainX to the windows, getting familiar with storage and loading stuff.

Was hopping to add steps but the guy selling some locally stopped responding to my messages that morning when I was asking when i could drive up to buy them so didn’t happen.

We cut a hole in the right rear panel to route the exhaust after cutting off the muffler. We coated exhaust with ceramic stuff then wrapped. We used heat shield material on cab.

the fiberglass has been paint matched perfectly to stock magnetic gray. Underneath inside wheel wells has been sprayed with rhino line material. I have not seen finished panels on truck yet.

 

We sold these… on day one! If you hit a rock with them they would fold up like a cheap suit!

Glad you were able to install your mobile gear for ham. Wonder what setup did you install...Keep the mods coming!

Heatshield foil


exhaust minus the muffler… welded end piece then ceramic coated and wrapped with Heatshield Lava wrap!

We bought a new TRD exhaust with black tip, but could not use with all the extra suspension and the air compressor tank added. So right now it’s a paperweight at the shop

The new exhaust is much better and sounds great too.

It’s been 11 months since I drove it… 2-3 more weeks

 

I'd guess this is well beyond the skill level of many of us. I can confirm it is something I will never attempt.

 

Cans for bump stops and mounts for Deaver springs

 

There is a lot of off-road racing knowledge at these fabrication shops and the skill to make parts from scratch. This design will help keep dust out of the air filter.
