I have a 2015 DCSB Off Road and looking for a tool box for the bed. The typical large one's that sit up at the front of the bed (near the back window) take up too much room. Any experience with those ones that swing out and bolted on near the back of the bed? They look interesting. Or any other ideas would be much appreciated

I also have a Truxport roll up cargo bed cover. Would want a tool box that can be under that. Any help appreciated

Check out the Undercover swing case toolbox. For a cheaper alternative, try the VDP Wheel Well Storage.

Undercover swing out tool boxes. I absolutely love them. A suprising amount of room, lockable, and quick and easy to install. Also, I just got back from a 12 hour road trip with heavy rain the entire drive. Everything in the boxes stayed completely dry.

The kids are lockable, and you have the option to add a lock that prevents them from swinging out (once you swing them out, a simple lift removes them from the mounts, so locks are important) mine still worked great. I just never used them and decided to go a different route with my bed so I sold mine.

I've got a swing case on the driver side (my hi lift mounting blocks installing one on the pass side). Not sure if it's totally watertight since there seems to be a little bit of play in the lid, but since it's usually under a soft topper on my truck, it's not an issue for me. Great box for keeping stuff out of the way and for being able to get out of the way if you need to load some 4x8 sheet goods in the bed

    Thread revival…
Does this side box type cover the AC access plug?
I have a 2013 DCSB Sport with the AC door. I want at least one small box to secure items.
Considering buying a Softopper as well so…

On the passenger side, it probably would cover the inverter plug while it's locked into place, but it's not super tight against the sidewall, and if you can find a 12-18" extension with a flat profile plug should be workable as a bypass solution.

    Something like this:

Thanks. I might just get one for the drivers side to start.
