Yeah, the 4:10AM “What are you doing” is usually the ice breaker. Without coffee the details are always blurry.

Kind of on the subject, but I found out my neighbor with 167 acres behind me does allow someone to hunt on the land. I've got a pretty good rapport with the daughter (who takes care of the estate basically) and while this year is out of the works, I'm tempted to ask if I could possibly hunt there next year. Never really hunted, but this would be a prime time and location to do it. There's plenty of deer back there and about once a week they basically stalk me in my front and back yard

Me being the crazy guy I am I would probably skin and gut the thing at the front of the garage for everybody to see (busy road and all).

Debating if I should take it up or not. Gonna be a lot of money to invest in it, but I'd really like some venison in my freezer. All the land behind me would be perfect. Wouldn't have to fight over the state game lands and dragging something back to the house wouldn't be bad. Processor is right up the road too.

I'll do it if I can hunt the land behind me, if not I might not bother. But, I'm sure the farmers that use that land would appreciate riding of some of them deers. I'll have to talk to the land owner.

You could always just shoot a deer whilst it's on your property.

My buddy that shot that 12 pt. Saturday came by to show it to me and was talking about his ozonics, and this and that, I said I was sitting in a plywood and galvanized tin blind that has been there for 3 weeks wearing my hunting clothes I got out of an old plastic toolbox that I didn't wash and saw 5 deer and one of them was within 5 yards. You don't need that mess :rofl::rofl:

Too close to a residence unfortunately. I've thought about it though

This would have been a prime example, right out my driveway...

You just ain't killed a PA deer before have you?

PA non-resident license is $102. Archery is an additional $27.

Resident is only $21 and includes one antlered tag.

EDIT: WTF PA, doe tags are a lottery system. :annoyed:

A little supervision, but she worked hard. Stacked rafters after dad and I cut them, and pulled nails out of boards that were cut off the eave overhang.
