Swapped the cabin air filter on my wife's 2021 with an OEM filter. It's the same part number as the one I replaced but it seems to be trash. The truck is driven a lot of limestone gravel roads and the dust seems to be getting in since the filter swap. The inside is super dusty all the time.

Did I fuck something up swapping it? I've checked and everything is back together correctly but maybe I missed something.

Is there a better filter I should be looking for?

Is the filter upside down or clocked 90 degrees? The filter isn't a perfect square and can leave an exposed edge if clocked 90 degrees.

What's the P/N printed on the filter? In case the dealer swapped parts in the box by mistake.

P/N is 87139-07020. I double checked that and the orientation. All good. Even checked to see if it was ripped or something. Didn't see any stand-out issues.
