Went scavenging in the woodlot my buck used as a bedroom. The stuff is so old all the paint and lettering is gone, I was hoping to find something with a bit more life left in it. :(

There was a pile of these red boards, so I'm leaning in that direction. IMG_20221101_163738.jpg

I think this would have been the winner hands down if the f and a were on it. Without them, I just can't do it. :pout:

Two Christmas ago Mrs Green says to me "the oven is getting cold...", I went out and checked the gauge on the propane tank - 0%...

We had a convenience store pizza for Christmas dinner.

The next day I stopped by the propane dealer, the lady said "you should have called the emergency number"...

All the propane runs is the range,
I AM NOT taking some working dude away from his family for a range on Christmas.

The pizza was mediocre at best but at least hot and no dishes to wash.

Here’s the only two deer I’ve ever got. The dude I sent them to used beetles and some other magic, no smell whatsoever and clean as a whistle. They still have the nasal bones in them which is super cool. image.jpg

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I guess I would rather have staples left over when the ice melted rather then use extra to have a feast knowing they could not be replaced to spring.

Everyone said I was different .

    Over 2000....

But I work for a Parks & Recreation Department so we ran a parade and a tent or treat. Like a trunk or treat but tents instead set up in the middle of a park away from traffic so it was safe for everyone. The parade has been in the community since the 60's but not the last two years because of COVID. Warm weather here in Maine(low 60's) encouraged people to come out. 18 tents set out and a 45 minute feeding frenzy. Quite the scene. Here is the proof. This picture represents the beginning of the parade arriving. There is still another 20 minutes of people walking in the rest of the parade that needs to arrive.

And this is the Gazebo decorated in the park, AFTER everyone had left but before we tore everything down.
