I have a fairly stock 2014 TRD Off Road and currently have Cooper Discoverer STT Pro 265/75R16's. I am looking to buy new tires but to keep the wife happy, I am going to try and get something that is not quite as loud and has a bit of a smoother ride.

So far I am looking at BFG KO2's and General Grabber ATx's. It looks like either of these will still be an E load range 10 ply tire so ride might not be much better.

What do you guys think about these or do you have better suggestions at Tires to consider?

Thank you for that info. I am going to have to look into those and see if there is any shot. I know there are some threads about them. I'll check out the Wildpeaks too.

Toyo AT3 has this reputation, wild peaks as well. KO2's are hit and miss, most complain after 2 years of ownership.

From my experience and from what Ive heard. Ko2s are good for a while but after a few years they are loud and suffer from poor wet traction.

Removed some stuff, added some stuff.
You could just save money and buy earplugs and a cushion…

I said that to the wife but shouldn't have added that it still probably wouldn't block out all the nagging. :D

WildPeak A/T3W is certainly a solid choice and a fan favorite here on the forum. The Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S is another solid consideration. The right tire for you will also boil down to the performance attributes you prioritize most.

If we may be of any assistance, feel free to reach out by PM - always happy to assist the members here
