It's now been 10 yrs and 210k km (130K miles) since I bought my taco and it's time for some reno's but I would appreciate recommendations.

When she was two months old, I got her an ome suspension, spc ucas, duratracs, aibags and built her a sled deck. Haven't done much afterwords, changed ac clutch twice, ac hose once, battery once, new rear axel seal (should of done air valve relocate sooner) belt wheel bearings, new antenna assembly (darn salted roads) and treated her with some BP-51's in the rear a few yrs ago. Changed spc bushings and balljoints twice under warrenty (got the greassables the second time), changed stabilizer bar link to moog greassables. Otherwise, regular maintenance at the dealership including airpump recall.

I probably logged over 30k km on forestry roads, usually high speed, which explains my severely cracked radiator core and driver's side sheet metal. Off-roading with an atv on my deck and a few hundred pounds of rock samples in the bed (I'm a geologist) probably doesn't help either.

My lca seized about 8 yrs ago and tire wear is now showing signs of misalignment. Thinking of keeping my truck for a few more years and getting new oem lca's with whiteline bushings, oem radiator bushings as well as welding and strengthening that front end sheet metal (got a mig). Anything else I should do while I'm at it? New cv axels? Install Ecgs bushing? New front shocks? Sensors? Just looking to keep on cruising with peace of mind when I'm 100 miles down a forestry road in the middle of nowhere :)

Outside of the recommended maintenance schedule, do brake and PS flush, and replace pulleys/bearings. The oem LCA will come with bushings and BJ’s; I would keep it as is if you’re only having the truck a few more years, or if you can afford the downtime, refurbish what you have now.

Take out and grease your cam bolts/sleeves! Just found out the hard way that over time they rust and essentially weld themselves to the LCAs making alignments impossible. My tuck is at the shop as we speak getting them cut off and replaced.

You've replaced your battery once? Probably time for another one. I have a 2012 and my first battery change was in 2017, and my second this last summer in 2022. So for me, they last about 5 years - when was your first battery change? It may be time for a new one. And as anyone who has had a battery die on them before knows, it's far easier to change it before it dies than wait for it to die at the worst possible time.

Pcv valve , serpentine belt , coolant & thermostat , radiator cap .I’d say alternator too since they seem to last either 140k or 300k miles ,maybe drive shaft u-joints if you are bored & looking for things to do.

    This is what I’d do.

I wouldn’t touch the Alternator or anything else until I have a problem.
With the quality of parts these days, you might go from no problem, to a problem.

    “Fix it until it’s broke”

Been there, done that, lesson learned.
