so far, my longest drive has been about 3 hours one way. that's enough before i need to stop and get out for 5-10 minutes. i'm average size.

i definitely miss the full-size RAM for the longer drives.

Maybe I'm shell shocked. Gave my 2 kids each a car to use for college and didn't want to pay insurance on four vehicles plus my motorhome so my wife and I have been sharing a 2017 Jeep Wrangler since 2019. Kids graduated and working now so just gave them the cars and off my policy. Going from a Wrangler to the Tacoma is a serious ride upgrade. My wife considering upgrading from the Wrangler to horseback.

Spring/Summer lots of highway miles for Travel Ball. (any other parents out there feel my pain?) Lots of 3-4 hours trips. Longest was 12. I'm the oddball that finds the seating very comfortable. 5'10" since we are sharing.

Im 5'7 and hate that about the steering wheel as well. Overall Getting in and out of many Toyotas is a pain in the ass cuz of the high seat bolstering. The Taco is the worst of them all. I struggle with it still and it's on of the few things I don't like about it.

I wonder if Toyota reads these posts in these forums. You know, as part of a process to get customer feedback on their product... :burnrubber:

It seems to be a very purposeful design in Toyotas' in general. They really locks butts into place. I am thinking it's part of there safety feature beliefs.

I drove from Naples FL back to MN (1715 miles) only stopping for gas, fast food and a 1 hour break to rest the eyes. Due to a couple accidents along the way that put me in stopped traffic it took me 29 hours. It is very much a mental thing to do that and I have to say I never got that sore . . . . . pretty comfortable actually.

Hell no ! After 6 years of constant bitching about the 6AT they’d have made the manual transmission standard like the old ones. If I had 5 complaints about my dcsb sr, 4 of them would relate to transmission and gearing.
