Hmmm ... confusing. You bow hunt only?

 

No I do both but I have never used a rifle in Pennsylvania only crossbow. Usually I hunt a total of 5 days in Pennsylvania but I’m going to start hunting there more . Bigger deer . Antler restrictions and shorter season makes for a more mature herd which = more rut activity also . But most importantly bigger antlers and bodies .

 

Pennsylvania is real confusing with different rules and zones but New Jersey is worse .

I hear most things in Jersey get confusing ... fast and expensively so.

 

I like the short rifle season . Too many young deer get killed around here during rifle season .

 

So crossbow is the way to go.

 

You can only use crossbow the last 2 weeks of archery season in NY . Makes no sense . I have not replaced my compound bow since it was stolen

 

Yeah im sure its same here. a Knuckle head couple properties over got permission from a friend or relative and shot a "big buck", i helped him try to find it as it crossed onto my property. But we couldnt find it. Couple days later a guy that was trying to buy property next to mine found it. Wasnt big at all. Just a little basket 6...but the way he was talking it was a huge one. Let me see if i can find pic

These are very similar to Wildpeaks and the Wildpeaks that I replaced them with were fantastic on what snow and ice we get. My wife drove my truck to work 4 or 5 times last year due to poor road conditions and she was very impressed. Slightly heavier than the Goodyears that came on my truck, but mpg's didn't drop at all. I would definitely recommend.
