16 is as long as we’re allowed to work here. Someone got killed years back working 3 days straight, that changed the rules. Have one for me!

Well men, history was made not once but twice in 24 hours.

First I used Ginger for real HD off road low range work - pulled a tractor with a loader. Very similar style to an old Ford 8000...

    7403.jpg

Similar being both blue, Fords and having a loader...

    KIMG2663.jpg

For those uninformed, a come-a-long is a manual device used to move things -- it is designed to take 137 clicks to move the cable a 1/4". The come-a-long pulls 3 feet at a time, the trailer is 12 feet long, 19728 +/- clicks if you do the math. :bananadead:

Back in my designer days I was part of a “Get ‘er Done!” crew. A select few of us that could get large drawing package finish over night. About once every other month a massive about of changes would come in from an architect a few days before a CD package was due. We would work from 8am Thursday till Noon Friday. Let me tell you, our brains where shot! We would then leave work and hit up a Chinese buffet then go home and sleep till Saturday. Lol

The loader tractor had sat in the hedgerow for around 15 years: tires flat, steering frozen - straight ahead fortunately.

It is fairly heavy, 797 pounds for the tractor + wheel weights, the loader and a rear weight box. Probably 1400 pounds total.

After dragging it out into the yard I used the afore mentioned come-a-long to get it on the trailer - that was a s-o-b...

Removal was quite easy, chain it to the F-250 and drive away.

So you don't want to roll or steer eh...
Guess you don't know just who you are dealing with here.

This one rolls and steers but has no engine.

Did a bit of pressure washing.

They look less bad with the moss and related blown off.

Sent this little International Scout off to a new home today. Sad to see it go in a way, it has been in the archives about 15 years.
