No hunt today ,already headed for 70*

There is a fucking asshole driving up and down the road blowing his Fuckin horn every 30 min. I’m a mile in the woods but god dam.

 

Mike: Where I used to deer hunt in Pa every year.....opening morning (when it was still a Monday) someone on a farm across the crick and a fair distance away would come outside right around daybreak/legal shooting time and start blasting away with a semi auto (pistol I assume - this was before the AK/AR-15 craze) for 10 to 15 minutes or more. Annoying sure, but drove any deer that were close to him away and towards the hunters!!!

 

He is to far away to bother me but you know what he’s doing. Must be worth wasting the gas lol

1st morning of Muzzleloader here. 70’s and rain. my lazy butt stayed on the couch. I do know the hitlist 10pt. is down. oldest headed here to work up. youngest shot one but must have not been good shot. in a fenced 2 acre CRP. jumped it but it couldnt cross the fence. backed out,ill go with him after lunch,and come in behind the patch to keep it in there.the land around the crp is owned by a true DICK. wont even let them recover one if it goes on him. sorry bout his luck but ill send the son home and ill go get the damn thing if necessary. thats what dads do

 

The hit list buck my oldest son been chasing, he shot it this morning.was chasin a whole herd of does. son said must of been 12 does around him and would pound which ever one got close. the little kickers of the G2’s is a bonus.

Im hoping. gave it 20 minutes. jumped it but wasnt down but couldnt cross the fence. backed out to let it lay and maybe stiffen up or die. we will see.he is a good hunter but has kids and doesnt get to go much.unlike my oldest who hunt every dang day.

 

So if you can’t get to it. Can’t confirm it’s dead. You go after another one?
