How much is your budget (for just suspension, not wheels and tires), what type of off roading do you do, and what are your eventual goals with the truck?

Just a FYI, I got the same AAL in the rear and it lifted my double cab 2.5" in the rear. It was a lot more than I would have liked. I put a couple hundred miles on it and it has no settled in yet. I went with the OME front springs and shock but I'm sure bilstein is good stuff.

Btw, the AAL is from Deaver. I got it from toytec as well. Make sure to get extended brake lines. They told me that I didn't need it but I definitely did when I tested how far the rear extended.

Oh yeah...3" lift is quite a bit. Get ready for leaking CV boots. I went with OME 880 and got 1.5" lift in the front.

I recently installed their "Ultimate Lift Kit" on my reg cab with 500lb springs and it is amazing. I would recommend them as a vendor. I went with their AAL (Deaver) and it is just what I needed.

Billy's will have a better ride quality over your factory. Fox, kings, ads will be 10x better. But if you don't care much for that, leveling puck and block will be the cheapest option. Thousands of people use those, I don't see an issue with them. You don't need a $1k suspension setup if you can get away with a $100 setup that will make you happy.

With $1k, I'll spend that money on PM before suspension, especially the LBJ, TB/WP etc. Kinda pointless to have a nice truck that is broken down.

This is probably THE most often discussed topic on this forum. I suggest doing a search and reading through a few threads.

I wouldn't blindly listen to people who tell you "you need this kit or I used that kit". More than likely you have a different budget, driving style, and intended use than they do. I could just as easily tell you what I run, but without knowing more about you and all that, it honestly isn't that helpful.

So go back and do some reading on the forum and see what else is out there. And if you still have questions, feel free to ask, but make sure to include more details about your driving style, where you intend to drive it (is this a daily driver that won't see hardly any dirt, or a dedicated trail truck or somewhere in between, etc...) and of course your budget.

I have this lift (BK9504) can I swap out my springs for 881? I don’t have a lot of weight (ARB Bumper and or winch) in the front and have a diff drop installed. Trying to reduce the cv angles. Thoughts??
