Weekend of mods #1:
First was the LOSTAR faux Pro skid plate.
(I will gladly save $250 for future mods over the OEM version)
Fought the install for quite a while due to the diff drop spacers that were installed by previous owner. Keeping the diff drop for now until I can upgrade the suspension. Still need to find some longer bolts and spacers.

Weekend of mods #2
Wanted just a little more thump to my speakers. Installed this 8” powered sub from Rockville in the rear double cab storage area. Inexpensive and fit my needs. Now realizing I need to do some sound deadening. (Likely next/ future mod)

To celebrate my truck's 2500th mile, I took it out on a no-name public land two track in upstate NY. Explored this area for the first time, hit some actual mud for the first time and was very pleased with how my truck (and my inexperienced self) handled it, in just 4HI and on stock tires no less. Not that I don't have plans to upgrade, but I gotta get winter tires first.

The night I bought my truck was a downpour, literally had her muddy the next day 100% stock. These trucks are built for fun day one from the dealer no matter the trim level. Best damn trucks period.

Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.

On our roads in town. Every road like this, and worse for 3 days now. Need to mount some ice skates on the truck.

Eight cars off roads in this area in the last 2 days. Twice I have had to swerve to avoid drivers on a cross street who approached the stop sign too fast and flew right across the road into a farm field.

Good thing these country drivers are such experts in the winter…
