Hi all! Been quite a while since I had a question but here goes…
My 98 TRD, which I bought used in 2015, came with a 2” lift, but even though there’s 2” spacer up front, the blocks in the rear look like 1.5”. There is a slightly noticeable droop to the rear. I don’t need to have the back lifted to where it’s noticeably higher than the front, but I’d like it level. Do I see about new blocks? Do I get new leafs that have one more leaf? Not sure how to proceed though leaning towards new leaf kit as I had a bad jousting tournament with a small downed tree while off road this summer and the tree got jammed between the left leafs. I managed to get the tree out of there but the thicker leaf(?) at the base is slightly shifted. Thoughts?

Depends on budget. Cheapest way would to get longer shackles. Then probably an add a leaf or have them re arched. If you have the money new leafs. There is a lot of information on different leaf packs and how much lift people got from them on Tacoma world. I would recommend deaver.

Get rid of those blocks in the rear and get a proper lift. Sure blocks are cheap but if you do any amount of wheeling they’ll cause more harm than good. Even an add-a-leaf kit would suffice better than blocks. Like stated above shackles would even be better.

Also I’ve seen people use a BFH to realign the overload spring on leaf packs. Doesn’t seem safe but I’ll give it a try on mine and if it fucks anything up I’ll let you know

    Lower the front spacers.
