I haven't been able to find much info about which Nitrocharger kit I should use if I have added weight, but NOT in the form of a bumper.

Currently I have about 255lbs of armor in the form of skids and steel sliders. I am actually swapping to aluminum skids so that will go down to about 200lbs. This weight is slightly more forward, but overall it's not going to lever the front down as much as 150lbs of bumper.

I just want 2" of lift and a nice smooth ride on and off road; I hate how jarring and firm the stock ride is. One company recommended I go with the 900021 (soft) struts with 888 coils which according to ARB should net me 2" of lift with the ARB Summit bumper (~150lbs). I see a lot of people complain about the 888s sagging but sometimes those complaints are that they "only" end up with 2" of lift (which is all that it guaranteed). There are others, though, that say they lost all but 1/2" which would definitely not be acceptable to me.

On the other hand, the 886 and 90000 people mostly seem happy with IF you have a bumper and/or winch. I will probably get a lightweight bumper in the future, but I don't want to necessarily bank on it. Is the current weight I have on my truck sufficient to smooth out the 886 coils?

I think with that weight the 886 are the better choice. And the 90021.

If you believe those that say they sag, you can always go with a Dobinsons coil up front.

I’ve had both the 887 and 886 on my Tacoma and 4R for 30k miles with no sag.
