    Hey everyone,

A week ago my 85 Toyota pickup was stolen in front of my longtime NE Portland home. Absolutely tragic as I loved that truck and had hopes of taking her well into the 300xxx's.

Enter my 1st gen taco - found her at the Toyota dealer here in town, single owner trade in (higher miles) super clean, no rust test drove fine.

I drove it home that day, noticed some lurching and turns out it is throwing a P0301 at me...Thankfully the dealer replaced the coils/plugs for me with no charge.

NO more misfire, although its doing something my 22r had done when it needed a valve adjust...its making this buzzing/ticking sound only when the rpms are high/coasting in gear (its a 5 speed). No check engine light. I have a good mechanic and will have him look it over in a couple days, but I just want to make sure its not something stupid like a rattly manifold connection or something like that. Anyone else have this issue with their 1st gen?

update: the toyota dealer forgot to reinstall the nut that secures the air intake box to the metal plate. 8 x 1.25 flange nut if anyone is wondering.
