It's my turn! Any ideas how much this collision will cost?

    It's my turn!

Was turning at an intersection while someone else was too (both heading the same direction after our turns), I turned into my left most lane and the other person didn't turn into the right most lane and I got hit on the front passenger corner. It seems to drive ok. Maybe mostly just panel damage? I had a coating and xpel so going to have to pay for that again since I doubt ins. will cover it. Also the 1/4 panel got pushed enough to close the panel gap between the panel and passenger door so I can't open that....going to be using ins. on this one. Thoughts on costs? I doubt the panel can be rescued..maybe a new front bumper too?

True. I was toying about just not claiming this, but then saw the door wasn't opening...I'm mostly worried about whoever I take it to matching the LR paint.

Guess I'll never be reselling this thing now that it'll have an accident knock on it.

Anyone ever have a similar accident? Should I have to worry about any suspension or front end damage under the panel? I'm sorta just besides myself on this one...just finished washing it.

Policy changes usually take 24hrs to go into effect. Also, that's insurance fraud and you don't want to do that.

I'm going to ballpark guess $4500.

    Edit: maybe $6k.

The other party's Insurance company will likely be involved in the matter. They're going to say the date and time this incident occurred. Just don't, trust me. :hattip:

I would make sure there is an alignment on your estimate to be sure the wheel and tire were not hit. Then part it out :D

That sucks, that could be 4-5000, the whole side of the truck might need to be painted. The solid colors are unusually difficult to blend. I had a Wrangler in the shop in that solid grey color and ended up shooting the entire side of it. Not a disaster just more work.
