Hey guys, as i was airing up today after a trail run, i noticed the top cap on my 6112 come off and now its free floating on the piston shaft. ive read that some people say to just give it a thorough cleaning and seat it back in place with some silicone or something else that that.. does anyone have any input on this? thanks!

I would take it apart, and repair it properly. Could be a bad shock/washer mount
