That is why I went that time, I was going to start using them too. There is good and bad in every company, I went back to the guy I was using. Its a privately owned business but I can stand under the truck with them while they are doing the work.

These nine year old girls are tough, watch how the girl that is suppose to be guarding the girl that makes the shot gets taken out of the play by Leah #2, then she gets in place for the rebound, they used that play a few times and works every time, lol.

    https://youtu.be/96CMqo2XNpc

    They execute it again here

    https://youtu.be/PMfB3wYT6lE

#13 is my granddaughter, if her team doesn't have the ball she will get it back. They played two games Saturday and won both games. I laugh the entire game at these girls. They shout instructions to each other and they will get on to each other if someone was open and someone missed it. They are so focused and determined that they don't even complain when they fall hard, they keep their eyes on the ball and just get up and go. They get in their zone and nothing bothers them. If they comitt a foul the coach takes them out for a while and they just stand on the side and cheer on whoever replaces them. They are only nine-year-olds, it is so fun to watch.

I know this is a truck forum but I had to brag on them a little.

She got a foul for this one, she said she stiff armed her like in football, smh
    Screenshot_20221105-142152_Gallery.jpg

Then the coach took her out for a while, she just yelled instructions from the sideline, lol

Morning all. Thought I would share this. I had been seeing ads for Garage Bulls and decided to order some. It’s pretty legit. I’ll report back on how well it holds up.

    From AlabamaWX

NOVEMBER WARMTH: We have a few spotty showers over North Alabama early this morning, but most of the state is dry with temperatures in the 60s. With a strong upper ridge overhead, we expect highs in the 80-84 degree range today and tomorrow, with new records very possible. Record highs at Birmingham are 82 today, and 84 tomorrow, both set in 2005. The average high today is 68, so these temperatures are around 15 degrees above average.

We are forecasting a mix of sun and clouds today with a few scattered showers, mainly over the northern half of the state. Tomorrow will be dry with a partly sunny sky.

MUCH COOLER WEDNESDAY: A “backdoor” front will push through in dry fashion tomorrow night from the northeast, and Wednesday will be a sunny, breezy, and much cooler day with a high between 68 and 71 degrees. Thursday will be another sunny day with a high in the low to mid 70s.

Some rain is possible over the eastern third of the state Friday as a tropical system passes to the east, but the rest of the state will be dry with a high in the low 70s. The heavier rain Friday will be over Georgia.

COLD WEEKEND: The coldest air so far this season rolls into Alabama over the weekend. Highs drop into the mid 50s Saturday with a very cool north wind, and temperatures will drop into the 27-32 degree range by Sunday morning. Some North Alabama communities might not get out of the 40s Sunday as the cold air continues to settle into the state. The weather will be dry with sunny days and clear nights.

NEXT WEEK: Lows will be in the 20s pretty much statewide early Monday morning. The rest of the week looks mostly dry with temperatures remaining below average… highs in the 50s and lows mostly in the 30s. See the daily Weather Briefing video for maps, graphics, and more details.

TROPICS: Subtropical Storm Nicole formed in the Atlantic early this morning; it is about 550 miles east of the Northwest Bahamas with winds of 45 mph. The system is expected to slow strengthen, and will move across the northern Bahamas Wednesday, and the Florida Peninsula (not the panhandle) Thursday with lots of wind and rain. For now the NHC forecast keeps Nicole as a tropical storm, but it’s not out of the question for Nicole to reach hurricane strength, especially given how warm the waters are in the vicinity of the Bahamas. It should be stressed, however, that no matter Nicole’s ultimate intensity, the storm’s large size will likely cause significant wind, storm surge, and rainfall impacts over a large portion of the northwestern Bahamas, Florida, and the southeastern coast of the United States during much of the upcoming week.

Nicole will remain well east of Alabama, although some of the eastern counties could see some rain along with breezy conditions Friday.

ON THIS DATE IN 2001 Typhoon Lingling struck the southern Philippines, killing 171 people with 118 missing in Camiguin. The typhoon then struck Vietnam 5 days later, killing an additional 18 people.

It's long exposure. Just hold the shutter open for a longer period of time so that the camera captures the flow.

    You mean like so, correct?

I paid for an online course thru Coursera for Structural Revit. I figured 50 bucks was worth it for a certification. At least I will be able to say I'm certified haha. It'll take me about a week to complete. I've got the time after all LOL

    Good morning!

I need to replace my front brake pads and disc. I thought I would upgrade them from stock. Does anyone have a suggestion on what kind and brand?

    From AlabamaWX

WARM: A strong upper ridge over Alabama will set the stage for another very warm November day… look for a high in the 81-85 degree range this afternoon, much like yesterday. New record highs could be established again with a partly to mostly sunny sky. An isolated shower or two can’t be ruled out this afternoon, but most places will be dry.

COOLER: A backdoor cold front (moving in from the northeast, instead of the northwest) will arrive tonight in dry fashion, and tomorrow will be noticeably cooler… with a sunny sky the high will be in the low 70s. Thursday will also be dry with a high in the mid 70s.

The far western part of the rain shield associated with Nicole will skirt East Alabama late Thursday night into early Friday morning; best chance of rain will come from about 10:00 p.m. Thursday until 6:00 a.m. Friday, mainly east of I-65. Rain amounts will be light, generally under 1/4 inch. A north wind will increase to 10-20 mph during the time frame as Nicole passes to the east.

Then, during the day Friday, expect a clearing sky with a high in the upper 60s. A gusty north wind will continue during the day.

COLD: The coldest air so far this season will settle into the Deep South just in time for the weekend. Highs drop into the 50s Saturday and Sunday… some places across the Tennessee Valley won’t get out of the 40s Sunday afternoon. Expect sub-freezing temperatures early Sunday mornin with a low in the 24-32 degree range. The air will be dry and the sky will be clear over the weekend.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures stay below average through the week with highs in the 50s. The latest global model output suggests there will be some chance of rain in the Wednesday-Thursday time frame with another cold front passing through… See the daily Weather Briefing video for maps, graphics, and more details.

TROPICS: Subtropical Storm Nicole is about 400 miles east/northeast of the northwestern Bahamas, and remains disorganized with winds of 45 mph. But, it is expected to make a transition to a tropical storm and begin strengthening later today.

Nicole is expected to make landfall along the Florida coast between Fort Lauderdale and Melbourne late tomorrow night or very early Thursday. A Hurricane Watch is in effect from Hallandale Beach to the Volusia/Brevard County Line, and for Lake Okeechobee.

A dangerous storm surge is expected along much of the east coast of Florida and portions of coastal Georgia where a storm surge warning is in effect. The storm surge will be accompanied by large and damaging waves. Do not focus on the exact track of Nicole since it is expected to be a large storm with hazards extending well to the north of the center, outside of the forecast cone. These hazards are likely to affect much of the Florida peninsula and portions of the southeast U.S.

Nicole will produce heavy rainfall tomorrow and Thursday across the Florida Peninsula (not the Panhandle). Flash and urban flooding will be possible across portions of the Florida Peninsula along with renewed river rises on portions of the St. Johns River. Flash, urban and small stream flooding will be possible in southeast Georgia and portions of South Carolina Thursday into Thursday night.

Some rain is possible over the eastern half of Alabama (along with windy conditions) Thursday night into early Friday morning, but the main impact of Nicole will be to the east over Georgia and the Carolinas.

MONDAY’S WARMTH: Record highs across Alabama yesterday included 88 at Tuscaloosa, 87 at Montgomery, 86 at Mobile, 85 at Birmingham, and 82 at Huntsville.

ON THIS DATE IN 1913: The Great Lakes Storm of November 7-13, 1913, was a blizzard with hurricane-force winds that devastated the Great Lakes Region, sinking as many as 19 ships and stranding 19 others. This storm would be the deadliest and most destructive natural disaster ever to hit the Great Lakes.

ON THIS DATE IN 1994: The twelfth and final tropical cyclone of the Atlantic hurricane season formed in the southwestern Caribbean. While Hurricane Gordon was only a Category 1, it killed 1,149 individuals, including 1,122 in Haiti.
