Check out this item on OfferUp. https://offerup.co/WnnJ5mUgTtb

Came across this on Reddit. Seems highly suspicious.
Tailgates have the inserts which makes it more suspicious. Lynwood and tailgate along with makeup…

My brother in law met up with this woman who showed up with 3 other cars at a public parking lot all gangsters. They have multiple accounts on offerup and facebook. My husband's tundra tailgate was stolen last week. I think they live in East LA but post their items in different cities

of course they bought it. Everyone knows they're stolen, and yet still buy them because it's still cheaper than paying out of pocket or filing a claim. So thieves will keep doing what they're doing.

No he didnt buy it, it was not the same item described in the picture. They said to take the tailgate they had and after they find the one we wanted, we could trade. In the end, seller was asking for $300, insurance deductible is $1,000. Also, the police do nothing. I reported their accounts but they keep making new ones. Rather pay the deductible and not buy from these theives

I was in Muley Twist Canyon in Capitol Reef NP, and while turning around, backed about 1" too far into a tree branch which was sticking straight out toward the truck (I never saw it). The end result was "time to get a new tailgate." I found a guy on eBay who sells the metal part of the tailgate, pre-painted your color and new for around 500$. I also had to purchase the plastic which runs along the top of the tailgate (~60$). The plan is to move parts from old tailgate to new. Hopefully, I can finish the job for under 700$ (aka Stupid Tax). I receive my new tailgate this week.

I had my tailgate stolen last year. I paid my $250 deductible to have it replaced. Not worth the $500. I also don't want to continue the theft recycle.
