So, my buddy isn't very car savvy and as I was driving it, I noticed his clutch had about 3" of Freeplay and engaged really low. I hopped up under the dash and the adjustable "plunger" going into the master cyl was super loose. Tightened it up and he was shocked it felt like a brand new clutch. Anyways, he text me later saying his cruise control wasn't working anymore. Does the cruise control release switch on the clutch pedal assembly need to be adjusted? I'm kinda confused cause I didn't mess with any of the wires or anything. My guess would be that switch but just looking for a 2nd opinion.

    2007 V6, 6spd, 4wd. Thanks.

Could be, the switch for the cruise is on the upper part of the clutch pedal assembly. The switch on the firewall is the starter interlock.
