Rear diff vent - just found out

    Second update - I need to install that seal, just pulled the drum and the brake shoes are saturated again. Oh well, no free lunch, as they say.:D

    Final update (I hope)........
    Replaced the left seal today, truck is back together. I see now what happens with these: the vent clogs, the lip of the inner seal is pressed harder against the sealing surface causing premature wear. Eventually, the seal lip is so thin that it comes off (along with the spring). Then you get the sudden leak.
    Planning to replace the right side also, seeing how it's a ticking time bomb.
    Hoping my bearing survives. I caught the leak right away.
