3.4 V6 for 40 bucks

Hey guys so basically I'm just trying to get some shop space.

I've got a complete 3.4l V6 (5VZ) for $40

The engine ate a head gasket a few years ago and a tear down was started but ended up pulling one from the junk yard to get my 97' 4runner back on the road. Had around 200k when the head gasket went, drove it home about a mile away then it was pulled soon after.

I dont want to part it out unless I get paid for my time tearing it down.

 

There's about $30 in aluminum right there (upper, lower, mid intake plenum + heads) if you scrap it. I got around $50 total when I scrapped my blown motor. Might be less headache to haul it to scrap yard if someone local doesn't pick it up from you. Good luck.

But damnit I’m on the wrong side of the country and I’m swimming in these engines as it is.

 

Someone pick this thing up that’s one hell of a deal. I have a 3rz but if I didn’t I’d pick this up and build it up
