I like your honesty here. Not the $20 sticker shock. Funny how the 20 is the new Hondo just like that. But if you really look at this piece of plastic what would it really be worth for someone to gather all the parts and subsequently put it all together in their living room? $10?, $15?

I did the rear through ECGS and just swapped the third member myself. The front is $1050 for Yukon 5.29’s.

I'm still not sure if I like the fitment/looks of these. I can feel a little rubbing when opening the door. I might get the MESO in MGM color when it becomes available. Does anyone have any rubbing issues on either brands?

No rubbing issues with my MESO's. You can feel them though. They're not sharp but you're aware it's not factory. The SR5's have black OEM handles if you want to have a completely smooth handle option, but they're significantly pricier than covers.

I've seen people on Tundras have rubbing from AJT. No rubbing on MESO

I have the SR5's in my fronts though.

That's what I read. That's why I went wit AJT's as well as color availability. Ya, I wouldn't do the pricier option. I might just use some fine grit sandpaper.

They don't jump out at you nor are they sharp, you can just feel where the seam is between the cover and the stock handle beneath. I'm used to it by now and it's less annoying than I thought it would be, but you can feel it on your fingertips.

If you wanted to get really crazy and seamless without purchasing new ones, you could remove them from the truck, dechrome them and repaint/clear them in whatever color you wanted. That would be seamlees.

I thought about that. I might do it next Spring. Unless it's too hard to remove them.

Very easy. After you remove the door panels they just pop out from their mounting positions. Removing the chrome takes a while though. Straight sandpaper is a nightmare so I soak my chrome plastic parts in a bleach bath for a few days (changing the bleach and rinsing them off daily) until it's gone. If your bleach is good they'll foam up real nice each time until the chrome is gone. Then sand with 320 and to a prime/paint/clear over 3 more days and then let my pieces cure at least another day or 2 before reinstalling as the clear I use is still soft until it fully cures. YMMY depending on process though.

    The list is growing.
Please tell me they don’t come in red. Lol.
Those can be fabbed up real easy at any upholstery shop. Just saying. Under 5 bucks and a few hammer swings.
