It was 1983 and I was walking down the street in Bayonne when I heard a lady crying. I followed the sound into an alley where a pretty girl with beautiful hair was crying uncontrollably. I asked her what the problem was and she said that she had been playing cards and lost all of her money. To top it off, one of the players was a record company executive. She, being a singer, really wanted to impress him. He told her that if she came back with 50 bucks, he will deal her one hand and if she wins, she can have 5 hours of recording time. We worked out a deal where I would give her the 50 bucks and in return, she would do something for me. After finishing, I asked her the name of her band. She said they were using her last name, Bongiovi. I told her that it was a stupid name and besides, how are the gobbagazoos down in Hoboken gonna learn how to spell that? You should shorten it to Bon Jovi. Well, she went back in and won that poker game and you know how it went from there.

This is Cocoa. I pulled her from the shelter Monday. It was her last day before being PTS. Found out Wednesday she’s heart worm positive. Huffs and puffs worse than some of my elderly heart failure patients and she’s only 5.

 

At least that's like a modified and desirable model. This Taco is bone stock!
