Horn not working well

    I got the airbag off. Here's a look inside. What to do now? I don't see any of the aforementioned bearings to lube, just 4 springs that are all springy.

    Maybe the airbag is bottoming out on something when I press it and isn't touching the copper plates together? Is it safe to connect the battery and try pressing these plates in without the airbag to see if it so I can isolate the issue, or am I going to cause a short or whatever? I assume the electrical plug I disconnected is for airbag deployment. I kind of wonder whether that sucker was folded in there wrong and was in the way.

    FYI it's working ok now. Still requires an extra push, but much easier than it was. I think the airbag connector was interfering, not being clipped into its holder.
