My DCLB is expected to arrive in December and I'm hoping to order a RSI EVOSport (w/ the tiny side window).

I'm aware that these cannot be opened from the inside, but I'm wondering if I can reach the latches by sticking my arm out the small side windows.

Wondering if anyone in OC/ LA has one that I can try?

    TIA.

I don’t have the long bed, I’d say you could reach one of the two latches (the forward latch).

I wonder if the dimensions, or window for that fact are the same for LB or
    SB.

i guess someone could get you the measurements for both.

I have the Same cap on a SB..: and I’m 6’2” with the same ish for wing span.

as another poster stated… you will be able to reach the front latch… but that rear is impossible for me to reach. You could probably pop the latch while holding something to assist you in reach it.

but I’d say, the issue you may find more difficult is closing the gullwing doors and latching them closed. Even the rear would be tricky.

    my 2cents.

Apparently the new latches are coming out in early 2023. I'd really like to be able to lock and unlock from the inside.

Dang. bad timing for me as my truck isnt built yet. I've read about the latches locking up when in freezing temps, but a lot of people seem to use some kind of graphite powder and it solves the issue.
