Ok call me crazy but I have no idea why I'm just noticing this...am I missing part of the intake (all my other toyota trucks I've had had the little slits on the fender by the right passenger side tire where the air for the intake goes into. I could have sworn I've had that too on baby taco or am I just smoking crack

Without a picture as reference to exactly what you think is missing its really just a shot in the dark..even a picture of it on another version of a toca..just to clarify the correct part..it's anyones guess as to what it may or may not be..

Definitely looks like the inner fender plastic is missing..if it has anything to do with the air intake would require a deeper look etc..

You’re not on crack lol. My truck used to have the plastic wheel liner extend down further with the slats. I had to cut my fender well exactly like yours too for clearance. I think it help direct airflow to the upper wheel well to the intake but it isn’t necessarily part of the intake

My truck is the base model regular cab so I thought maybe it doesn't come with the extended fender. Again I had this truck for over a year and I can't remember for the life of me if the extended inner fender was there or not. It's like that on both sides so I thought maybe it came that way (mine doesn't come with fog lights or even cruise control so thought it's a possibility) truck was stock when I bought it owned by an old man so I know he didn't cut them off

This is what a complete wheel well liner is supposed to look like. I’ve got a 2011 TRD Off Road, maybe because you don’t have fog lights Toyota thought you don’t need extra protection from water and such to the fog wiring? Who knows at this point lol

I see you have a lift, some UCA’s and bigger tires. Did you do the install yourself or have a shop do it? Maybe the shop chopped it during the install for clearance and you’re just now seeing it?

You might have removed it to get the bolt out for the UCA's. Did it have larger tires when you got the truck? If it did, a previous owner may have trimmed them if they were rubbing.
