Anyone had this before? Never in 5 years of owning this truck have i run into this Issue of hard starting in cold weather.

Background: I just had a big service completed a few weeks ago. All Fluids including coolant changed. Full Fuel system service(throttle body , injectors flushed etc), PCV valve new.

Spark Plugs were done with new OEM Iridium Plugs at 97,000 km/60.000 Miles and have 50,000/km/30,000 Miles on those "new" plugs:

New Battery Just 6 weeks ago.

Here's the Video i shot. 1st cold start went as normal so i didnt include that video. Let her idle for 30 seconds and restarted (and recorded)and this happened. My concern is the restart was what the truck did yesterday on the 1st start.

I wonder if the fuel pump is working correctly. Need to check if its got the right amount of fuel pressure.

Had a new pump Installed a few years ago from a Recall so maybe another bad pump.

This is why i bought the 7 year 200,000km Platinum extended warranty. For shit like this just in case.

I hope this is all it is. I wonder if the Injector flushing and fuel system cleaning service they did could have caused something.

I’m having intermittent starting issues as well. Sometimes it cranks for 5-10 seconds before starting, other times no crank at all. Going to dealer tomorrow for a starter replacement. Keep that in mind as well

So it seems like it turned out to be bad fuel. I filled up at a rural cardlock station and got what we think was some water in the gas. The dealership got the same issues when trying to start at times but the truck wasn't throwing up any codes and they did an exhaust test and everything was running perfectly when the car got started. Im running a few tanks of premium and they suggested dosing the tank with about 250 mils/1 cup of water remover ( methyl Hydrate) for a full tank of 80 liters and doing this for 2 tank fills then 125mils/1/2 cup of water remover for a few more tank fulls. The truck starts without a hitch now doing this for last few days. I've had some long drives so i've been chugging through gas like crazy but that's helping to clean out any leftover moisture.

Yikes, wow! Thanks for the update. I try and always run Top Tier Fuel in my truck. However on vacation out at the cabin there are a few no name gas stations I've used before. So far no issues like that.
