Just following up on this, I've yet to hear that noise from the top of the door since adding the extra weather strip. I probably will now though that I've posted something about it.

 

I think it was my dad being inspired by its super powers in removing gum from our hair as kids……knowing the way my dad thinks, it probably was like a light went on in his head lol then i just did it cause he does and my son’ll probably keep a tub of crunchy Skippy in his garage just like i do lol

Probably one of a kind. 2nd gen (one bracket) fits perfectly in the only spot I could use them actually. Unless I recess them way back behind the grill

 

20 days later I picked it up from the dealer this morning with a new motor. Hopefully I'll get more than 6500 miles out of this one......

 

Tried dancing with the devil before I had to go out. It'll have to be a tomorrow thing.
