    Welcome to the Forum!!

Maybe a local sign shop could duplicate them for you.

A part out from the Southwest USA some how protected from the sun.

They sell em on the toyota website as a part number, get the number and search it online and get a knockoff one for cheap or go to the junkyard and grab one of those, clean it up, paint it and put it on. I personally like the no emblems

Toyota doesn't sell them anymore for 1st gens, they go for crazy money on eBay now. The SR5 ones at least

unless you can find some in a junkyard, probably the best bet for cheap/free ones.

I believe the emblems on the sides of the truck are still available from a dealer. Check me on that -- they were very recently.

The chrome-plated PVC emblems on the tailgate are long gone. I cannot believe any of those idiotic prices on eBay are actually being paid.

And I'm glad I got mine for the running restoration of my 2003 5+ years ago when a few were still available from dealers. Even then, though, no SR5 V6 emblems were to be found. A couple of months ago I finally put on a few I'd been hoarding, losing the V6 in the process.

If I had to do it again I'd go with cut vinyl sheet letters that have been recreated by several vendors that more or less replicate the emblems of the first couple of years of Tacoma production.

Yeah, I found the ones for the doors no problem and priced decent. The others, no luck. Those look great. I need those lol

You can always upbadge to the second gen emblems from a 2005-2011 truck. Won’t be the same, but it’s an option.

Drop by any professional sign shop, they maybe able to make a duplicate for you, but would probably be pricey.

I know the cheapest way is to just have the sign shop cut a set out of vinyl of your color choice. The shop I got mine from had all the badges in their program, and cut them while I waited.

A couple of options for you, @honeybadger47 -- probably none of them what you want, but maybe they'll give you some ideas.

    1. Place one of those front door TOYOTATACOMA badges on the tailgate. I've not seen anyone do that, but it would be fairly cheap and easy, and might look surprisingly OK.

    2. Get vinyl transfers of the style from an earlier year Tacomas and go a bit retro. Some of those earlier tailgates were pretty nifty, I'd say. There are several vendors of those -- check Etsy, and here's a guy that's been mentioned on this forum (with which I have no personal experience). I'm sure there are others, too.

Here's an image of a circa 1996-97 Tacoma's tailgate snapped in my travels. (I'm not exactly sure on the date -- others here will know better and will likely have other sources for tailgate transfers, too.)

Wow, I should have debadged my 2003 before selling it and put the emblems up on eBay! I had them all (except for LIMITED)
