    My 2cents…. The USA has CAFE standards, that is the ONLY reason they say to use 0w-20… to squeeze out another .001 mpg.

    I use the oil that the manual says to use, but 10w-30 falls into the range of acceptable oils. Unless the truck is used in colder climates.

    Those are some sharp engineers to make the necessary calculations to take into consideration, for example, that Tijuana is two blocks closer to the equator than San Diego - never mind that El Paso is closer to the equator than Tijuana.

    Coconut is entirely too high viscosity for cold weather applications. It doesn't completely fill the channels in my griddle and causes excessive wear between Ahi slices.
