2017 Toyota Tacoma oil leak

    They're talking 9 hours of Labor and Toyota does have a updated rear main seal for that truck I feel like it should be recalled and done for free people spend a lot of money for these trucks because of the reputations they've built over the years they're going to ruin it building vehicles like this.... Just how I feel my 1999 Toyota RAV4 s**** all over this truck as far as dependability

    You're probably right and also I guess they have an updated seal I bet they're putting them in all their newer models probably because they saw issues with that one why would they make a updated seal if the one they put in there was good? Is what it is I still love the truck

    What dealer did you get this truck from? Because there's no way it started leaking the day you drove it off the lot. I would rag on them see if they will pay for part of the repair or something.

    If so, never heard there was a bad rear main seal batch, in the parts world, that situation is called supersession where the old part gets revised.
