I’m kind of new to trucks & Tacomas in general. I’ve had my Tacoma since the end of August and I’m thinking about upgrading my rims to the matte black TRD alloys. I’m looking on a Toyota parts website. Could I just order the rims to my house and then take them to the dealer or a shop to get installed? Do I need to buy new tires along with it or can they take off my current rims and just replace them? Or is replacing my current rims with new ones something I could do myself at home? Sorry for the noob questions, I’m really new to all of this stuff and the only upgrade I’ve done myself so far is the OEM LED headlights install. I have a 2022 Tacoma SR 4x4 if anyone needs to know.

Take offs work but the stock 245 tires will look skinny on the trd rims. Not an issue but most chose to put a better tire choice on with 265 width to match the rim.

Keep looking on Craigslist or e-bay for wheels, you'll get a better deal than the stealership. Depending where your at your local tacomaworld forum people post rims with tires all the time.
